 to sideline David Kahn’s work\, by the 1990s\, it had come to respect him 
 for advancing the field of cryptology. In 1993\, NSA invited Dr. Kahn to b
 e its scholar in residence. In 2020\, Kahn was named to the NSA/CSS Crypto
