A farewell message from NCF President & CEO Laura Nelson as she prepares to retire.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Lieutenant General Kenneth Minihan, USAF (Ret.). Lt Gen Minihan played a pivotal role in the founding of the National Cryptologic Foundation (formerly the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation) during his tenure as Director of the National Security Agency.

The first NCF Education Summit (held Oct 17, 2025) brought together more than 100 educators, administrators, industry professionals, and government leaders to explore strategies for strengthening cyber literacy and workforce readiness among students.

The NCF Joins the 2025 Maryland STEM Festival Opening Ceremony
In August 2025, the NCF, in partnership with the Maryland STEM Fest, proudly brought Cyber Feud to the 2025 Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) National Conference in Atlanta. This exciting competition featured two dynamic teams with participants representing BDPA clubs from across the United States.
The NCF was proud to be invited to a community event at the Brooklyn Public Library in New York to share our cyber education resources for a Back-to-School event.
